Focus on the step in front of you, not the whole staircase.
Do you ever find yourself overwhelmed by your child’s big feelings — unsure what they need from you, or how to respond in a way that supports them?
Perhaps you’ve heard about gentle or connected parenting but feel lost when it comes to actually applying those ideas in the heat of the moment.
You’re not alone — and you’re not failing.
Most of us were handed a parenting puzzle without the picture on the box. We’re expected to navigate tantrums, defiance, emotional storms and developmental leaps… all without a map.
Imagine what it would feel like to finally have that map.
To know why your child is behaving the way they are and what they’re truly asking of you beneath the chaos.
To understand what to do in the hardest moments — and how to stay regulated when everything feels overwhelming.
A Map to Parenting with Confidence
The Circle of Security Parenting™ (COSP™) program offers a clear and compassionate map for understanding your child’s emotional world.
Instead of a set of rigid rules, COSP gives you a framework you can return to again and again — in the meltdowns, the chaos, the clinginess, the defiance, and the quiet moments in between.
You’ll learn how to:
Understand your child’s needs beneath their behaviour
Stay grounded and regulated through big emotions — theirs and yours
Strengthen connection and repair quickly after ruptures
Build a secure relationship where your child feels safe, seen and supported
Shift from reacting to responding with clarity and confidence
Become the parent your child instinctively knows they can rely on
This program is not about perfection.
It’s about learning to honour your humanity, embrace “good enough” parenting, and walk away with a simple, practical framework you can use every single day.Parents often describe COSP as the moment everything clicks — the moment the puzzle finally has a picture.
This workshop will completely shift how you see your child — and yourself.
By the end of our time together, you’ll feel more:
Confident in your decisions
Calm in your responses
Connected to your child
Clear on what they need from you
Supported in the messy, beautiful work of parenting
You’ll walk away with a parenting map you can return to over and over again — in the moments that feel easy, and especially in the ones that don’t.

Each week we will meet to work through a chapter of the Circle of Security together. The content of the program utilises video demonstration, individual exercises and collaborative group discussions.
In the week between sessions, this time encourages you to digest, practice and reflect on the content you have just learnt. At the beginning of each session, you will be invited to share your ‘Circle Stories’ that have cropped up in our time apart.
Group workshops are currently operating face-to-face. Private sessions are able to run either online or from the privacy of your own home.
-
Each session allows for 1.5 hours total, this ensures that there is ample time to engage in shared discussion for when these times arise. If needing to unpack anything further, there will be an extra 30 minutes after the session has come to an end, where you can continue your discussion with your facilitator and any other participants that are willing and able to join.
-
We do ask that you arrange childcare for your little one(s) to ensure that you are able to participate and absorb the content delivered without distractions. If for whatever reason, your child needs to attend a session with you, we ask that you notify your facilitator ahead of time and do so with the expectation that you may be required to support your child in a way that minimises the distractions of the others in attendance (going for a walk to reset, etc.).
-
Unfortunately this is not a self-paced workshop. The premise of the Circle of Security program is to be implemented in a group reflective dynamic. Although the content is fabulous in its own right, the program really comes into its own when we are able to share in group reflections with one another. You will find these sessions become quite powerfully moving and we gain a great deal more from the content that sparks these discussions.

“Jess is just incredible! The concepts within the Circle of Security alone are powerful, but when delivered by someone as engaging and insightful as Jess, it really becomes something special. The lessons have sparked so many conversations in our house that have completely changed the way we approach parenting and even relationships in general. Thank you Jess! It’s been amazing!”
